Scenes from Don Giovanni with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra

Screen Shot 2015-10-01 at 12.06.47 PMOctober 1 through 4, Angela Meade brings her portrayal of Mozart’s Donna Anna to the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra in a concert performance of scenes from Don Giovanni, the comedic opera based on the legends of fictinal libertine Don Juan. She joins a cast that includes Morgan Smith in the title role and Jennifer Black as Donna Elvira under the baton of Principal Guest Conductor Markus Stenz.

Wrote the Cincinnati Enquirer of a previous performance in the role, “The most memorable debut was made by Angela Meade, who as Donna Anna conveyed a range from grief to anguish while soaring radiantly through the most demanding arias…Her sound was truly remarkable.”

The October 1 and 4 performances of scenes from Don Giovanni headline an all-Mozart program that also features the composer’s Symphony No. 1 and Sinfonia Concertante.
